  1. Wow, I love that green color--it looks so natural!! Could you explain how you infuse the wheat grass--water or oil? It makes me want to start soaking some wheatberries right now.

    1. Sonya, I put it in some of the lye water (pre the lye that is) and mixed it in. Then mixed the whole lot into the soap at trace. Hope that helps.

  2. My dream is to revive my grandmother's lye soap making recipe, tweet it a bit and become a beautiful soap maker like you, but not full Irish just part with some American Indian mixed it living in Memohis TN USA. I could watch your videos all day everyday. I'm so amazed at your talent! Your a joy to watch mixing and chatting with who I imagine is your daughter. Do you have any instructional video's. My middle granddaughter wants to learn and I want to teach her like my granny Sherrill taught me.

    1. Hi Wanda ... I have a You Tube channel at http://www.youtube.com/thesoaperstar and you can see everything there, I do instructions as I go along but I don't give details of my formula. The best thing to do is go onto Soap Calc and work out a basic formula and test it and tweak as you go. A very basic formula to start off with could be 30% Coconut oil, 30% Palm Oil and 40% Olive Oil and work on that til you want to tweak it around a bit. Hope that helps!

    2. Celine thank you for taking the time to answer me back. I will watch your videos for use. What about the lye water how much do you normally use and is there an international brand. I hope I am not bothering you, you fascinate me how easy you make it look. My granddaughter Taylor wants she and I to learn. Fun I think it will be fun considering we love to cook and bake together. Again thanks for taking your valuable time to reply to me.
