Blue Christmas - imagine twinkling blue lights shining on glittering snow on a cold frosty Christmas morning.

This stunning soap is made with our hugely popular formulation of Sweet Almond & Golden Olive oils along with lashings of Cocoa Butter. We've added our Triple Milk formula of Goatsmilk, Buttermilk & Yogurt to give incredibly creamy lather and to add to your skin feel, plus white kaolin clay for skin clarity and, of course, pure tussah silk for that extra hint of sheer luxury.

Within it's trio of blue swirls, the soap is fragranced with a blend of rich cranberries within a fruity floral heart of strawberry, ripe red raspberry and zesty orange with sweet honey and notes of tea rose, all on a base of cedarwood & vanilla.  We finished the soap by covering it in a frosty carpet of glistening glitter.

International Soap Swap

The ever lovely Julia from Soap Artists blog is organizing an international soap swap. Spanish soapers will be swapping with other soapers from around the world.

Soap Swap - Two Blooms Design Studio

I was delighted a while back to receive an email from Michelle from Two Blooms Design Studio who asked if I'd be interested in doing a swap with her.  I've been reading her blog and following her on Facebook for a while now so I said YES PLEASE!!! So we agreed to swap two soaps, some soap samples, a body butter and a lip balm.  She went one better and added in some of her foaming bath salts too.

I got them in the post last Friday I think but was only able to make the video about them last night and then ran out of time to put the video together fully.  But it was the first thing I did after I got home from work this evening and here it is!




Love everything you make Michelle, a very high quality product and I was so honoured to swap with you.  I can only hope you're as happy with my soaps and other things as I was with yours.  Thank you SO much again xx

Cutting Asian Pear & Lily

This is a new fragrance I bought just after Christmas, with the Spring/Summer range in mind.  When I opened the bottle, I thought "oh WOW, that's YUMMMM" and, after making it into a soap, I'm still thinking the same thought.  This is just a lovely lovely fragrance, neither too fruity nor too floral but a hugely complimentary blend of both.

The fragrance is described as a fresh, fruity floral fragrance with orange and tangerine enhanced by mouthwatering fruits including apple, pear, pineapple and peach supported by a heart of freesia, rose, jasmine, osmanthus and plum all resting on a sensual base of white musk, precious woods and dry fruits.  It is just delicious.

I worked with the faux funnel swirl again, I think I may be addicted! I wanted to get the colours of Spring/Summer in there but wanted to not use green again as I feel I've used it a lot lately.  So I chose yellow, white and pink.  The pink faded a little and turned into a peachy pink but that's ok, it's still beautiful.. actually maybe more suitable to the fragrance than a too bright pink.

I also changed up my formulation a little to include more cocoa butter (as I love it in everything) and more olive oil and take out the avocado ... I just fancied a change to be honest.  Dying to see how it works out once fully cured but the suds test I do at the end of this video shows there's no problem with the lather, that's for sure.
