The fragrance is described as a fresh, fruity floral fragrance with orange and tangerine enhanced by mouthwatering fruits including apple, pear, pineapple and peach supported by a heart of freesia, rose, jasmine, osmanthus and plum all resting on a sensual base of white musk, precious woods and dry fruits. It is just delicious.
I worked with the faux funnel swirl again, I think I may be addicted! I wanted to get the colours of Spring/Summer in there but wanted to not use green again as I feel I've used it a lot lately. So I chose yellow, white and pink. The pink faded a little and turned into a peachy pink but that's ok, it's still beautiful.. actually maybe more suitable to the fragrance than a too bright pink.
I also changed up my formulation a little to include more cocoa butter (as I love it in everything) and more olive oil and take out the avocado ... I just fancied a change to be honest. Dying to see how it works out once fully cured but the suds test I do at the end of this video shows there's no problem with the lather, that's for sure.
So here is the cutting video of Asian Pear & Lily - I really hope you enjoy it!
I think you are getting perfection at your faux funnel swirl!
ReplyDeleteThe soap looks so uplifting with it's sunny colours. We all get into that comparing mode of other soapers and I know I do. Think about the customers who love your products and those of us who comment on your wonderful creations. All of us have our own unique way of making things.
ReplyDeleteHope your week perks up.

Loved how you & Titch both sucked in your breath when you saw the cut soap for the first time! It really is breathtaking!! :) Wish I could smell this one - sounds like something I would enjoy as well.
ReplyDeleteYeah I had to laugh at the ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh's and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh's from us when I watched it back. Funny!
DeleteSo refreshing...looks like slices of citrus rind colors, the way they curve. And yes, we are all different with soaping ideas....that's what keeps it fun.
ReplyDeleteJust so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good looking faux funnel swirl with lovely colors.
ReplyDeleteYour soap is beautiful, and such bright colors! Can I ask where you purchased your soap cutter? I have been looking for one and have never found a cutter designed like yours. I have been cutting my bars by hand and it shows! I would like bars that are a bit more uniform.
ReplyDeleteHi
DeleteI got it from the US ... myself and a soaper friend got one each but there were some problems with the delivery and the US maker decided she wasn't going to ship internationally again. Sorry about that. If you're in the US, go to The Dish Forum and look for a member called Flash and talk to her about it. Hope that helps.
Thanks everyone! Really appreciate your comments... I LOVED making this soap, I love the technique!
ReplyDeleteI just found out you can reply individually to comments.. I never knew that before! Yay!
ReplyDeleteVERY pretty! Wish I could smell it through the screen, because you sold me on the scent! :)
